I really enjoy this tea and it usually gets to me super fast, but I had a not-so-great experience with one of the owners recently. My order ended up being delayed a lot because it took a detour across the country before finally getting to me. It took 11 days via UPS instead of the typical 1-2 days. I was worried that the tea in plastic bags was sitting on a hot truck during the summer for days, and I’m not sure that’s the healthiest option. Anyway, I get that the delay was a UPS issue and not Tea Runners' fault, but I thought it would’ve been nice if they had sent me a couple of sample packs to tide me over until my order showed up. That would’ve left me feeling really good about the company. Instead, they brushed off my concerns and said there was nothing they could do. I used to be a big fan and told all my friends about them, but I probably won’t be recommending them anymore.

After a long day filled with meetings and presentations, I always turn to tea runners to help me recharge. The scents I pick really help my mind to chill out and take it easy. It's definitely a solid stress buster.

I'm really into the range of teas available, the options for customization, and the different frequency choices. Most of the time, I find the tea enjoyable and I appreciate sampling the various types. My sole issue is that I wish the teas weren't wrapped in plastic.

I've really liked every tea I've sampled up to now, particularly those from China. They don't have the same astringency as the Indian varieties. I appreciate that the monthly subscriptions can be tailored to fit personal preferences. This way, folks don’t end up with teas they can’t stand (based on their own tastes). I’m really excited about my TEA-shirt and the mug I got. The shirt is adorable and fits way better than typical tees... It’s snug and has a feminine vibe. My mug is a good size and has a classy look to it! Both pieces are crafted really well and would make awesome gifts... But hey, I’m treating myself with these fun finds! Shipping was fast, and I got plenty of personal attention with my order... I totally recommend this shop!

Tea Runners might be on the pricier side compared to other monthly tea services I've come across, but trust me, it's totally worth it. If you enjoy a cup daily, each box can easily last you a month, even without re-steeping. I've discovered several teas that I absolutely adore thanks to them, including some I wouldn't have given a shot based on their names or descriptions if they hadn't shown up in my box.

I found this to be an awesome present, and honestly, I had no letdowns at all - every one of the four teas was quite tasty - my top pick was the Butterfly Mango Dragon Fruit White.

I've sampled nearly every variety except one, and they were all quite tasty. The options for customization are really great. If I spot a tea that doesn't appeal to me, swapping it for a different one is a breeze. On the other hand, if I notice an Oolong available, I can grab it just as easily!

As soon as I got my first order of teas, my neighbor and I eagerly ripped open and inhaled the aromas of all the tea packages like wild lemurs enjoying a particularly trippy millipede. We both thought that the ginger rooibos would be perfect for iced tea, while the lapsang souchong would be the go-to choice for dishing out juicy gossip about Lord Bandersnoot (that rascal) at the upcoming gathering of the Society of Benevolent Women. Overall, a 10/10 experience - totally recommend it.
